ISA ACTIVITY - SAPLING COUNT
RPS is firmly determined to transform each and every student into Global Citizen of tomorrow. British Council’s International School Award (ISA) is an ambitious measure taken by school in this regard and the outcomes are phenomenal. With issues like pollution, overpopulation and deforestation, the planet is losing its lustre and quality of life. In order to make the students aware of this worrying global issue in sight and at hand, the school decided to take the Project, 'How green is my school 'and got it approved from British Council’s International School Award’s (ISA) team. The counting of herbs and shrubs in school premises was done with Classes III - V on Monday, April 22 2019. Teachers talked to the children about the things plants give us. Children raised slogans ' Grow more trees', ' Trees are our green friends'. Each counted sapling repreented their dream of' Green Earth'.
